Finkyinc Kitesurfing School

Finkyinc is owned and run by Jason Higgins and Sarah-Jane Milbourn. Jason has been teaching Kite surfing and Windsurfing for the last 10 years, much of which has been done in Egypt. He was also one of the founders of Ras Sudr kite lagoons now known as Airspace lagoons. For the last 4 years Jason has been teaching on East beach in Littlehampton on the south coast which is perfect for beginners through to advanced riders and offers a shallow thigh depth area perfect for teaching. Jason is a fully qualified IKO head instructor, he is also first aid trained, CRB checked and trained in PWC rescue techniques.

Sarah Jane has been kite-surfing for nearly 4 years and is completely hooked on the sport. As well as holding down a full time job as a human resources manager she can often be seen on the beach helping out with enquiries and making sure all the students have everything they need, and if you can’t see her on the beach you’ll hear her screaming on the water.

All Finkyinc Instructors are fully qualified either by the IKO (International Kitesurfing Organisation) or the BKSA ( British kitesurfing association ). All teaching is based on the IKO system but we are aware that people learn in different ways and at different speeds. We have developed a teaching system which allows the student to learn at their own pace but also lets the student learn in a way that is easy for them to understand and is also fun. We are also aware that people may find the sport a bit intimidating so here at Finkyinc we try our hardest to make you feel welcome and deliver to you a professional service from beginning to end.Here at Finkyinc we use all the latest equipment from RRD for teaching. We also make sure that all of our equipment is maintained to the highest standard and carry out complete safety checks every day before and after lessons.

 

Over the years we have used allot of different kite brands, some were impressive others were not so but the two brands that stood out for us over the years are RRD and Crazyfly for three very simple reasons, quality, durability and a customer service second to none, for these reasons we have set ourselves up as specialist's for these brands, we may in the future choose to stock other brands with the same quality's but for now we are the RRD and Crazyfly specialist's.
