Egypt does it again !!!

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly people learn to kite-surf when the the water is warm, the sun is always shinning and the wind never seems to stop blowing.
Yep you’ve guessed it, we’ve just returned from our third trip to Egypt this year, this place pretty much blows all day and all night, we spent 7 days kite-surfing on 9 metre kites, 2 days on 7’s and 4 days on 12 metre kites, that’s allot of kite-surfing when you consider you can be on the water from 9 am until the sun goes down.
Whilst we were there we witnessed the King of the Lagoon ( Egyptian style ) competition, run over two days this comp attracts a large amount of competitors and has categories for all levels. Freestyle, big air, and best trick were run on the Friday and a mass downwinder was completed on the Saturday, winner of the King of the Lagoon won a Cabrinha board.
We must say a huge thank you to Schlep, Greg, John and the Moonbeach team for looking after us so well and we must also thank Cat and Morgan from Soul Kite-surfing who went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
